Our Footprints. Our Legacy.
Joshua Samuelson is an illustrator whose thesis is an exploration into the strange and bizarre. His work emulates the feeling of turning on the television and switching to an odd channel you’ve never seen before. This project includes various forms of multimedia: puppetry, video, 3D design, character design, and more. This series is an invitation to embrace the weird and unusual. The work covers the feeling of the uncanny and unknown as the viewers witness a series of strange and horrific events.

Joshua’s work has been in gallery shows throughout PCA&D including “Phantasmagoria” and “Phantasmagoria Resurrected,” as well as contributing to the “Dog in a Cowboy Hat” zine and gallery show. Josh also worked throughout the College in various roles over the past four years including Gallery Assistant, Peer Mentor, Student Ambassador, Library Assistant, Registrar’s Assistant, and two years as Orientation Leader.
