Inspired by the art of movement shown in stunt filming, action films, and animation, Thomas Tynes creates animated works that describe the flow of motion through action and martial arts. Thomas uses programs such as Autodesk Maya and Clip Studio paint to aid his exploration of animation. Thomas’s work not only shows us the flow of movement through combat, but also tells us that violence isn’t the answer while simultaneously letting us know to forgive one another.
As an artist he has had his art displayed at Annex 24 art gallery in Lancaster, Pennsylvania in 2019. With the experience he has gained through college, Thomas aims to become a character animator in the near future.
