Art History and Visual Culture
Our Footprints. Our Legacy.
Veronica’s colorful body of illustration is inspired by preschool cartoons and extraterrestrial, fairytale imagery. She’s passionate about storytelling through zines, coloring books, and picture books for those with playful minds of all ages. Veronica has had many collaborative projects with her illustration peers, like “Dog in a Cowboy Hat” (2022), a summer class zine. She has experience in gallery curation at PCA&D’s Main Gallery. Many of her works are part of a series, such as Valentine’s cards, surface designs, and stickers. Veronica also loves designing patterns and surface illustrations with bright pops of color. Veronica’s passionate senior thesis is a picture book that tells a love story between two very different people coming together in spite of their differences. She hopes to create more collaborative works with other artists in the future.
