Alex is incredibly passionate about movies and the film industry, so when it came time to choose a thesis topic, he knew this would be the time to do what he’s always wanted — to create and bring his visions to life! Astero Cinema House and Eatery specializes in bringing back “classics” to the big screen. From niche films to marquee blockbusters, this is an environment to unwind, come together, enjoy a film, and also the best place to get a bite to eat.

Bio
Alex Maxwell is a graphic designer from Minneapolis, Minnesota, who’s passionate about anything and everything design-related. During his time at PCA&D, he has made the dean’s list every year and was co-art director for PCA&D’s Agency, which gave him the opportunity to work with multiple non-profits. Alex also had his mural displayed outside the senior studios building on Prince Street. Over the past 10 years of creating art, he has delved into the realms of digital design, typefaces, motion graphics, video editing, and all things digital, fueling his love for creative expression.
