Francisco Luis Maldonado Martínez

Animation & Game Art, BFA

Minor in Art History & Visual Culture
Thesis Project

The interest in 3D art has been inside Francisco’s mind for years. Having learned Maya and other 3D programs like, Unreal Engine 5 and Adobe Substance, he’s learned to bring all of them together to create a video game concept he titled “Hero’s Bounty.” From conception to visualization and postproduction, he is familiar with the production pipeline for 3D media. It starts with a logline, then an environment through thumbnails and rendered illustrations, making sure that it all reads well before translating into 3D. One day he plans to revisit this game and release it out into the world.

Bio
With his animations and game scenes, Francisco can take ideas and turn them into full 3D projects. His work pushes the boundaries of the real world by creating one where there are no limits. He was accepted as a SIGGRAPH student volunteer for the 50th conference that took place in the Los Angeles Convention Center in 2023. His goal is to one day inspire others the way he was inspired before.
