Silas Shoop is a transgender illustrator who works with primarily digital media. With his work, he intends to create things he loves while inspiring others to do the same. His inspirations come from the alternative genres of music, gaming, and fashion. He has a passion for exploring LGBT+ themes and character design, which is what he wished to do for his thesis. The goal was to produce a line of colorful characters that could potentially be produced as plush toys. He hopes to spread a message of hope through his writing and artwork. Silas plans to produce his own novel post-graduation.
