Safety Checklist

In order to keep the PCA&D community safe, we ask that you follow these safety guidelines daily when coming to campus for your class or meeting your class on-site at an outdoor location.

COVID SAFETY CHECKLIST:

We acknowledge that best practices and directives may change as the situation evolves locally and nationally, so please remain connected with us as we navigate session to session. You can always reach out to health@pcad.edu if you have any questions or concerns.

FOLLOW THIS CHECKLIST BEFORE ARRIVING ON CAMPUS OR ON-SITE

Monitor your symptoms

If you think you may be sick (fever, cough, other symptoms), do not come to class.

  • For more info on symptoms, consult this guide from the CDC
  • Take your temperature at home before coming to campus if you’re feeling unwell
  • Also consult this step-by-step monitoring flowchart

Masks optional

Masks are no longer required to be worn by all students, faculty, and staff while inside the building or on-site at an outdoor location. It is important to note that the College fully supports anyone who chooses to wear a mask and expects all members of the campus community to be respectful of this choice. Face coverings are available upon request. If you choose to wear a mask, masks should be worn properly (i.e. covering your nose and mouth, fits snugly around your face etc.).

Maintain physical distancing

Keep 6 feet apart from others as suggested by the CDC. When possible, stay at least 6 feet away from other people, especially if you are at higher risk of getting very sick with COVID.

Wash your hands frequently and thoroughly when possible

You’ll find hand sanitizer dispensers around campus and in classrooms. We recommend bringing your own to on-site classes.

Cover your face when sneezing or coughing

Try coughing or sneezing into your elbow or a tissue.

GENERAL SAFETY CHECKLIST:

Nut Allergy Safety

We recommend against bringing outside food on campus. If you do need a snack, please avoid bringing foods with nuts and seeds (including nut butters) and eat it in the designated areas on the 3rd-floor lounge.

Youth Pick-up and drop-off

Parents, please consult your registration confirmation email for all guidelines about the pick-up and drop-off procedure.

Follow all entry and exit signage

Please be sure to read and follow signage to avoid getting lost or entering spaces not designated for the general public.
