PCA&D Housing

Housing & Commuting

PCA&D offers apartment-style student housing, giving students the opportunity to live independently with a safety net of support from the College.

Student Housing

PCA&D Student Housing is overseen by Residential Life and supported by PCA&D staff members to ensure the safety and well-being of our residential students. All of our communities are within a short walk to our campus and have a variety of amenities nearby. Students will live with up to three other roommates in 1- to 4-bedroom spaces, featuring communal shared spaces. PCA&D Student Housing offers all the amenities of traditional college living with the community and learning in mind. Enjoy the convenience of…

  • Housing costs will be billed with tuition
  • Fully-furnished rooms
  • Safe and secure buildings, patrolled by multiple organizations
  • Maintenance ticket system
  • Emergency support line with professional on-call staff

Community Assistants

PCA&D’s version of an “RA”, our Community Assistants are trained student leaders living in each community to provide guidance, support, and help build a warm, welcoming community. Throughout the year, CAs host events like community game nights, potlucks, movie nights, and more.

Meal Plan available

While our housing communities offer full kitchens for meal prep, students may opt into a meal plan through our partnership with nearby Franklin & Marshall College. All meal plan rates are charged per semester and paid through your tuition bill.

Housing Application Process

The housing application is released in April with placements announced in July for deposited, full-time degree-seeking students planning to start classes in the fall. It is important that the student complete the application themselves for the roommate placements.

Commuting

Commuting is a great way to save money will enjoying the vibrant community PCA&D has to offer. A parking garage is available right behind campus for use with all students being able to purchase a parking pass through the Bursar’s office. Carpooling is also recommended for those who would like to split any traveling costs they may experience. In all inclement weather conditions, PCA&D uses the RAVE text and email alert system to announce campus closures, advisories, or safety concerns.
