Description

This class is an intro to Procreate, a digital painting and drawing program used by professional illustrators and graphic designers. The main goal of the class is for you to understand Procreate’s tools and apply them to create a finished piece of digital art. You will also be more comfortable using the program to create work in the future. We will start with creating a canvas by choosing specific size and resolution settings. Once inside the program, you will be guided through Procreate’s various menus and tools. Once all tools and menus are explained, you will begin to create your own artwork, guided by the instructor. You will be shown all of Procreate’s features. Including the Actions, Adjustments, Selection and Transform tools as well as the many brushes that come loaded with the program. Once the workshop is over, you will have a finished piece of digital art as well as a general understanding of Procreate and the confidence to use the program effectively for future projects. NOTE: You must have Procreate downloaded and ready to use in order to succeed in this class. A separate device should be used to tune into the online class.

This course must meet minimum enrollment by July 9 in order to run. Register today!
