Beginning Acrylic Painting: Grades 7-9

Your child will explore the bold and colorful styles of iconic pop artists Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein while mixing in some modern-day flair by drawing inspiration from emojis. Your child will learn the fundamentals of acrylic painting from color mixing to brush techniques. Our final project will be an ANTI-color wheel masterpiece that features the things your child loves most—expressing themselves like never before! Whether they are a budding artist or just love to create, this class is all about having fun and letting their imagination run wild while learning more about the use of acrylic paints.
