Description
In this hands-on character design class, middle school artists will learn the fundamentals of creating original characters while discovering how different art materials shape their designs. Throughout the class, students will create at least two character designs using different material combinations, exploring how each medium affects the visual style, texture, and mood of their characters. Does watercolor create a softer, more whimsical feel? Do markers produce bold, graphic designs? Students will discover the answers through creative experimentation! Expect your child to have a mixture of lecture and plenty of space to creatively experiment.
This course must meet minimum enrollment by September 28 in order to run. Register today!
