July Week 1 | Sculpture Exploration Making Forms With Cardboard: Grades 6-9

“A sculpture is just a painting cut out and stood up somewhere,” -Frank Stella. Making 2-D art and 3-D art have some things in common, but how different is the process as a whole? What’s involved with trying to make a 3-D object? In this one-day workshop, students will learn the tools and methods behind taking a 2-D sketch of a fruit and turning it into a 3-D cardboard sculpture.
