Description

Get wild about animals as students observe, paint and draw them in a variety of exciting materials and projects! In this camp, students in grades 5-8 will learn the fundamentals of art: value, color, composition, perspective, and anatomy, in a fun and creative way. From delicate feathers to intricate fur patterns, your child will learn to capture the essence of each creature in stunning detail. With progressive exercises in pencil drawing and a culminating final project in watercolor, our camp offers a comprehensive exploration of various media. Camp will culminate in an exhibition on the final day.

NOTE: We will be working with preserved specimens and some live animals.

This course must meet minimum enrollment by July 8 in order to run. Register today!
