Description

In this workshop, students in grades 7-9 will be guided through the process of creating a realistic portrait of their pet, using the drawing materials of their choice – like pastels, markers, charcoal, pencil and colored pencil. Students will be asked to bring a well lit portrait of their pet or a pet that is special to them to use as reference. After a brief class discussion of examples and processes, students will create a rough sketch and practice some shading/texture making techniques needed for their portrait. We will also explore a variety of techniques for drawing to create realistic texture and shading. Join us!

This course must meet minimum enrollment by June 17 in order to run. Register today!
