March – Art Queens: Women in Art: Grades 4-6

Come join us in this class for grades 4-6 where we will be learning about and getting inspired by contemporary and historical women artists. We will use a variety of artistic media ranging from drawing to painting to collage, and more. This class will encourage your child to create artwork as a personal response to the examples discussed, and to provide them with the means to reflect on how they can use their artistic voice. This camp culminates in an exhibition of our work on the final day! This is. a studio class. Expect your child to have lecture and one-on-one guidance from the instructor.  They will be challenged to experiment with various media and have some creative freedom within the bounds of the topic!
