Description
Drawing is often considered to be the foundation of an artistic practice. Working from observation requires logic and creativity and in turn, both sides of your brain are activated. In this course you will work from observation, learning techniques and the use of various media that will improve drawing skills, as well as provide skills for your continued art making practice.
This is a credit-bearing class and grades will be given. Please check the supply list tab for materials needed to complete this class.

- Charcoal (vine and compressed)
- Graphite pencils: 4H,2H,HB,4B,6B
- Heavy body paper min. size 11″ x 17″ – 1 sheet
- Drawing board
- Variety of erasers – kneaded, white rubber
- Blending tools such as paper stumps and rags
- Additional materials will be discussed on the first day
