Week 3 | July | Murals & Collaborative Art: Grades 4-6

In this course, students will have the opportunity to both create individual work and collaborate with others through the creation of murals. We will explore examples of murals and large scale paintings and talk about how the murals can be pieced together and displayed together or separately. Students will focus on abstract art based around a theme/idea that the group comes up with together. This is a studio based class with some guidance to start followed by one-on-one instruction. Expect to have lots of creative freedom within the bounds of the assignments!
