Description
Snip, fold, tear, and glue! In this playful art workshop for students in grades 1–3, young artists will discover all the amazing ways paper can be transformed into art. From cutting and collage to folding, layering, crumpling, weaving, and building, students will explore how one simple material can become almost anything. We’ll experiment with different kinds of paper—colorful, textured, thick, thin, patterned—and learn how artists use paper to create both flat and sculptural works of art. Perfect for curious creators, this hands-on workshop celebrates imagination, exploration, and the endless possibilities of paper! Our camp will culminate in an exhibition on the final day! This is a studio based class with a bit of guidance and demonstration. Expect to have lots of creative freedom within the bounds of the assignment!
Camp culminates in an exhibition on the final day that is open to friends and family to attend!
This course must meet minimum enrollment by July 20 in order to run. Register today!
