Description
Introduction to Portraiture is perfect for young artists looking to hone their fine arts skills and learn the foundations of technique and expression for portraits. Students will be able to experiment through the processes of gesture, observational drawing, abstraction, and narrative in addition to portrait drawing. Whether you are a beginner looking to try something new or working on refining your skills, this class offers a chance to explore the creative possibilities of portraiture. Our camp will culminate in an exhibition on the final day! This is a studio based class with a bit of guidance and demonstration. Expect to have lots of creative freedom within the bounds of the assignment!
