Sarah Lennon

In her work, multimedia fine artist Sarah Lennon forms connections between Surrealism, memory, and escapism in an attempt to reconnect with her body after trauma. Building narratives that are both somber and humorous, she is drawn to experimenting with process, particularly the merging of painting and printmaking. Lennon’s senior thesis project is a series of painted self-portraits and a two-month daily printmaking series designed to tap into the unconscious. During her time at PCA&D, Lennon has exhibited work at the Lancaster Museum of Art and Street Road Artists Space, along with completing an internship at The Wooden Plane. Following graduation, she plans to apply to residencies in the region.
