Thesis Project

Using his excitement and passion for motorsports, Graphic Designer Austin Taylor’s thesis focuses on the thrill people get about automotive culture. Austin’s thesis “Clutch Fest: a two-day Extreme Motorsports / Automotive Music Festival” is an event that celebrates the people who can’t control their enthusiasm for the motorsports/automotive culture and gives them an outlet to express that. From thrilling events like drifting cars and test-driving Porsches during the day to listening and dancing to music at night, Clutch Fest is an event that lets you show your excitement and make unforgettable memories.

Austin was a member of the Agency, a branding and marketing program through the college, where he climbed up the ranks and became a project manager leading a design team over the summer working with 5 organizations. Throughout Austin’s time here at PCA&D he accomplished, getting first place in the 2022 America250PA Direct EffectTM Innovation Challenge (DEIC), and being named “Student to Watch” in “GDUSA Magazine”.
