Description

This watercolor-focused workshop integrates mindfulness practices with painting, focusing on techniques, color exploration, and abstract composition. You will immerse yourself in a comprehensive creative experience designed to enhance self-awareness, relaxation, and artistic expression.

Workshop Highlights

Mindfulness Techniques
We will begin with foundational watercolor techniques, incorporating meditative practices to foster a calm, focused state of mind. Learn how to slow down, engage with the medium playfully, and embrace the process of creating art without judgment or expectations.

Exploring Color
Use color theory, learn how to mix colors effectively, create personalized palettes, and achieve vibrant hues. Techniques to avoid muddy colors and blend colors both on the palette and paper will also be covered.

Abstract Composition
Develop an understanding of basic principles of balance, form, and variation. Explore your internal sense of geometry to create dynamic, engaging artworks, and maintain a harmonious composition using meditative approaches.

Community Environment
Throughout the workshop, participants will work in a supportive, non-judgmental space where they can share their creative journey and find inspiration from others.

This course must meet minimum enrollment by February 5 in order to run. Register today!
