This workshop for those that are beginning their journey with observational drawing will cover basic anatomy of the head, how to map out the features of the face, and translating what we see into an accurate likeness. You will learn how to work from simple to complex in your drawing, learn how to use graphite and charcoal, gain knowledge of visual exercises to assist in seeing, and draw a portrait with accurate likeness. This class utilizes a live model and students should expect to complete a portrait drawing and take notes on head anatomy.
