In this workshop we will use visual journaling to engage in the creative process allowing us to dive deeper into self-exploration, storytelling, and mindfulness.By working with found imagery and text you will learn how to access deeper meaning and awareness through journaling using mixed media materials. The connection between art and language will be our focus as we discuss the metaphorical and metaphysical aspects of establishing our creative practices.Together we will review the purpose of visual journaling, engage prompts, and explore media as we begin to find ways to incorporate our journaling practice into our lives. 

This course must meet minimum enrollment by July 3 in order to run. Register today!

  • Erasers
  • Any markers, colored pencils, pastels, or other drawing medium you prefer. 
  • Scissors
  • Paper, magazines or collage medium you would like to use
  • We will have a variet of supplies for you to use but it is best when you can also use materials and media that you are going to continue to use in your journaling practice.
