Description

This class will help you develop a visual reference by creating a three-dimensional maquette. Before building the maquette, you will develop a concept of what you want to visualize and learn some best practices. We will use polymer clay (Super Sculpey) with aluminum foil and armature wire to build their maquettes. You are free to pick your drawing material preference, but having some tracing paper and graphite pencils on hand will be helpful. Once we have our maquettes, we will talk about lighting and using them in larger pieces of art. We will sketch and draw directly from the maquette to realize our conceptual vision.

This course must meet minimum enrollment by May 29 in order to run. Register today!
