Description

Sometimes poetry is found in the unlikeliest places: a news article, a cookbook, a historical document. In this class, we’ll read erasure, black-out, and borrowed poems and make some of our own. Integrating other materials, such as ink, paint, or textile, to experiment with the forms is optional but encouraged. Participants will leave with an orientation to found poetic forms, a small body of work, and a few examples and names of writers for further reading.

This course must meet minimum enrollment by October 26 in order to run. Register today!
