Gratitude Boxes: Exploring 3D Collage

This workshop will be a guided creation of a gratitude box. These are small boxes that will be transformed through found objects, collage, and other materials. Students will be asked to consider what they are grateful for and focus that intention into one word. From that word they will think about textures, symbols, color, and shapes to decorate both the inside and outside of their boxes. Participants will be encouraged to keep these and open them when they need a reminder of something important they are grateful for.
