Inspired by Tarot: Grades 6-9

Explore the symbolism and visual language found in the tarot! Tarot card reading is an ancient practice that people have used in analyzing and finding deep meaning. In this workshop, we will explore the history of the tarot deck and look at visual interpretations throughout history to the present. Students will then have the opportunity to create their own deck! We will talk about imagery, symbolism, and have a variety of mixed media options to make your deck come to life. Students are welcome to bring a deck along for inspiration! Expect a lot of creative freedom in this workshop!
