Description

Participants will learn the basics of fictional worldbuilding that they can use as a backdrop in their visual, written, and performative practices. In this drawing and writing online workshop, we’ll start from the macro level (world) and build towards the micro (individual) to rapidly brainstorm a world and its integral components, characters, places, and environments. Previous drawing or writing experience is not necessary!

This course must meet minimum enrollment by May 30 in order to run. Register today! 

Supply List

  • A Gmail.com email address – PCA&D uses Google Classroom for online classes. Gmail accounts are free to create.
  • Computer/tablet/internet-enabled device with mic/camera
  • Internet access
  • Pad of sketch Paper, 18”x24” or larger is recommended
  • 2 HB or #2 Pencils
  • 2 Black or blue Pens
  • Your choice of a dry color medium. Basic sets are fine. Feel free to mix and match:

    • Colored Pencils
    • Crayons
    • Markers
    • Conte Crayons
