Description
This figure drawing workshop for students in grades 9-12 teaches proportions of the figure and the archetypal basis on which the artist can compare for the sake of accuracy. It teaches measuring skills and technique for material application for believable realism. Through experience with a live model and learning ways to draw to maintain structure, rhythm, and gesture, this workshop is an information packed live model drawing experience. The instructor will also incorporate lecture and demonstrations. Expect to have guidance from the instructor as you work on 18″ x 24″ charcoal/graphite drawings.
