Description

Fantasy illustration isn’t just about drawing cool dragons- it’s about drawing cool dragons people think could really be out there! In this class we will explore the processes of creating believable fantasy creatures, what they would look like based on their environments, what their bodies would need to look like based on their abilities, and how to take inspiration from real life things to create a believable illustration of that creature. Please review the supply list tab for drawing options.

After a brief lecture, students will be provided a prompt to successfully complete. Each prompt will walk students through how to make a believable fantasy creature illustration step-by-step, so it’s not overwhelming. Expect to have guidance from the instructor as you work on your illustrations.

This course must meet minimum enrollment by March 7 in order to run. Register today!
