Description

This course is designed to teach artists in grades 9-12 the fundamentals of screen printing. Students will learn every step of the screen printing process, including creating a design, making a stencil, mixing ink, and the best techniques for printing. Art historical and real-world examples of screen printing will be discussed to show the versatility of the medium. Students will gain experience printing their own posters, tote bags, and t-shirts.

This is a credit-bearing class and grades will be given. Please check the supply list tab for materials needed to complete this class.
