Description
Join us for an all-levels observational drawing workshop at the Lancaster Cemetery located at 205 E. Lemon Street! We will cover the basics of observational drawing including basic composition, sketching, and timed drawing sessions. We will also learn a bit about Lancaster Cemetery’s history, observe symbols on various tombstones, and explore the gardens and trees on the cemetery grounds. You’ll have the option of adding illustrative elements to your pieces as a unique way to celebrate spooky season!
Please note that this workshop will take place outside. Please wear appropriate shoes and clothing. See the supply list for other suggestions.
This course must meet minimum enrollment by September 28 in order to run. Register today!
Supply List
- Sketching pencils (consider bringing a variety of softness to play with!)
- Erasers
- Sketchbook or Sketchpad
- Sharpeners
- Drawing Surface or Drawing Board (optional)
- A portable chair or stool or a blanket if you would like to sit and draw.
