Week 1 | June | Let’s Print! Exploring Printmaking: Grades 4-6

Learn about Pop Art through Printmaking! Students will explore our designs through drawing and then transfer our works to Styrofoam printing plates. Your child’s instructor will lead a step-by-step printmaking demonstration before they are introduced to printmaking stations where they will be able to independently make multiple prints of their composition. Students will learn how to layer multiple colors and work with vibrant inks and papers to create their masterpieces! This is a studio based class with a bit of guidance to start followed by one-on-one instruction. Expect to have some creative freedom within the bounds of the assignment!
