A pair of national publications has recognized Pennsylvania College of Art & Design in their recent rankings of design and art programs:
- GD USA Magazine, a business-to-business source for graphic design professionals, has named Pennsylvania College of Art & Design to its list of top graphic design schools in the United States. The compilation represents “50 favorite institutions that prepare students to work in professional graphic design.”

- Animation Career Review, an online resource for people aspiring to have a career in animation, design, gaming and related fields, has recognized PCA&D as a top-20 college for Illustration on the East Coast, and a top-10 Graphic Design college program in Pennsylvania.
Animation Career Review’s ranking criteria include, in no particular order, academic reputation, admission selectivity, the program’s breadth and depth, value as it relates to tuition and indebtedness, and employment data.
