Are you an aspiring concept artist? Do you often find yourself coming up with a variety of different characters? Would you like to find a way to present these ideas in a more professional setting? If so, then come learn the basics of character design for animation. In this workshop we will explore the foundations of a character sheet and the basic elements of creating compelling character designs. A good character design can be the first step in bringing your ideas to life through animation. From the early concept work, to the final draft, come learn the basics of character design for animation as we work step by step to help you realize your vision and present your work and your artistic style. This is a studio based class with lecture and guidance to start followed by one-on-one instruction. Expect to have some creative freedom within the bounds of the assignment!
