Description

This is an intermediate hand sewing workshop in which you will have the opportunity to practice various stitches while making a spirit charm (also known as an amulet or talisman or good luck charm). You will gain practice hand stitching a project rather than just a stitching sampler.

The main goal is for you to apply known and newly learned hand sewing techniques to a real project, with all its challenges. Beyond just practicing hand sewing techniques, you will learn how to choose, apply, and manipulate fabric in the making of a project. After a brief explanation and demonstration of the project, you will choose your materials – fabrics and assorted decorative bits – and design and create your charm.

This course must meet minimum enrollment by June 19 in order to run. Register today!
