Description

In this class, you will learn how to create a comic using digital tools and software. You will be guided through the process of creating a comic page: scripting, layout design/ thumbnails, penciling, inking, coloring, lettering, and exporting files for print or sharing digitally. The class will have access to Photoshop, but all students have the option to use their own tools like Procreate or Clip Studio Paint. Along the way you will be shown basic ideas of perspective drawing, anatomy, how to create a visual/ mental library of inspiration and reference, how to pace your storytelling on a page, and how to effectively use digital tools. You will leave this class with one finished comic page and the knowledge of how to continue to complete the rest of your story.

This course must meet minimum enrollment by February 22 in order to run. Register today!
