Pre-College Workshop: Landscapes and Environmental Design for Games and Digital Media

In this online workshop, we will cover the basics of developing effective landscape compositions in digital painting. We will also explore additional digital painting software tools available.  We will kick off the workshop by reviewing the fundamentals of composition. You will then apply those tools and concepts to create a collection of quick compositional sketches.

By the end of the class, you will have a more advanced understanding of image construction, healthy habits to continue to hone your ideation skills, and the confidence to effectively use digital software in any future artwork.

NOTE: You must have a basic understanding of and access to Adobe Photoshop or Procreate on a desktop with a digital drawing tablet or an iPad.
