Professional Development for Creatives: From Resumes to Interviews Workshop

This online workshop will cover resumes, portfolio, and interview tips for those seeking an internship, their first job, or a career change. We will go over presenting ourselves, networking, and the importance of soft skills for creatives. Our main goal is to discuss the business/professional side that comes along with being an artist! We will go over resume formats, website presentation, using LinkedIn, and more. A presentation with do’s and don’ts, tips and tricks, and general advice will be presented throughout the workshop, but a quick 1-on-1 review with the instructor can be conducted at the end for each person who is interested. Students will walk away from this workshop with advice on their application material and the knowledge on how to pursue future applications and opportunities.
