Week 1 | June | Creating Comics & Zines: Grades 4-6

In this course, students will be able to tell a story about their life through the creation and design of their own comic or zine! We will explore aspects of bookmaking, setting and narration, and character creation. Students will use a variety of drawing materials and will use a variety of drawing and shading techniques to finish their final creations. This is a studio based class with a bit of guidance to start followed by one-on-one instruction. Expect to have some creative freedom within the bounds of the assignment!
