Description
Are you looking to build or refresh your machine sewing skills? In this three hour workshop we will cover basic sewing machine setup, care, and sewing techniques for seams, mending, basting and other applications. After a brief demonstration on how to use your sewing machine, you will practice setting up the machine and practice stitching. You will also learn and practice decorative and other useful stitching techniques. Join us!

Supply List
- Your sewing machine
- NOTE: If you do not have a sewing machine, we will have several that you can learn on. However, if you have your own machine, it is always best to learn on that, since it is the one you will be using after the workshop.
- A good pair of fabric scissors and some straight pins
- A piece of cloth, such as remnants, an old tea towel or sheet or garment.
- Needle and thread
- NOTE: If you do not have cloth, pins, needle & thread, the instructor will have some kits on hand that you can purchase for a small fee ($5).
