Description
Fold, create, and discover! In this engaging origami workshop for students in grades 4–6, we’ll explore the art of paper folding while learning about the rich culture of Japan. Students will discover how this traditional art form has been practiced for centuries and how it continues to evolve in exciting new ways today. Together, we’ll practice step-by-step folding techniques and create several projects, building skills in focus, patience, and creativity along the way. All skill levels are welcome—whether you’re brand new to origami or already love folding paper. Come ready to learn, experiment, and transform simple sheets of paper into amazing works of art! This is a studio based class with lots of guidance to start followed by one-on-one instruction. Expect to have lots of creative freedom within the bounds of the assignment!
