New Faculty, Real–World Craft: PCA&D Welcomes 12 Working Makers

This fall’s newest instructors bring their real-world expertise directly to PCA&D students.

Pennsylvania College of Art & Design welcomes 11 new adjunct instructors and one full-time faculty member for the Fall 2026 semester – working artists, scholars, and industry veterans bringing real–world knowledge and experience straight into the classroom. Together with returning faculty, they bring PCA&D’s teaching roster to 86 faculty teaching across 11 departments, eight majors, and 19 minors. Meet the newest members of our faculty below.

Animation and Game Art

Inna Leonov-Kenny: Originally from Kyiv, Ukraine, Inna Leonov–Kenny is an animator, 3D artist, educator, and immersive media professional with more than two decades of experience in science–focused immersive experiences. A Drexel University graduate, she spent 20 years with Spitz, Inc. before moving into freelance work and teaching animation, visual effects, and technology at the University of the Arts, Drexel, and Kutztown University. She has also served as an international jury member for the Fulldome Festival Brno and collaborated with Thorne Media and Center City Film and Media.

Mike Roth: Mike Roth is an Emmy Award–winning animation writer, producer, director, and developer. He created Bat–Fam and Merry Little Batman, both streaming on Amazon Prime, and served as co–executive producer of Cartoon Network’s Emmy–winning Shorts Program. His work spans writing, storyboarding, animation, and development across Cartoon Network, Disney, and Nickelodeon, earning numerous Emmy nominations and industry honors; he has also served on the boards of the Television Academy and the Animation Guild. Roth holds a BFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York.

Dheeraj Mantha: Dheeraj Mantha holds a Master of Science in Digital Media from Drexel University, where he specialized in 3D production, motion capture, and cinematic design pipelines. His work spans the full 3D production pipeline – modeling, texturing, and real–time rendering in Unreal Engine – with a focus on motion capture and cinematic storytelling. At Drexel, he served as a 3D Modeling and Texturing Artist and later as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, supervising the motion capture lab and supporting students in motion capture and cinematic design pipelines.

Liberal Arts

Emily Steinberg: Emily Steinberg is a visual artist and graphic memoirist whose work combines painting and autobiographical narrative to explore memory, illness, identity, and everyday life. A University of Pennsylvania graduate, she has exhibited widely in the U.S. and internationally, with visual narratives published in outlets including The New Yorker. Her graphic medicine work includes the award–winning Menopause: A Comic Treatment, an Eisner Award recipient.

Joanna Underhill: Joanna Underhill holds an MA in Creative Drama and Children’s Theater from Northwestern University, an ME in School Counseling from Millersville University, and a BA in Theater Arts from Penn State University. Since 1996, she has worked as an arts educator and director throughout Lancaster County, partnering with schools, theaters, universities, and arts organizations including Fulton Theatre, Teatro Paloma, Creative Works of Lancaster, and Millersville University.

Andrew Bellware: Dr. Andrew Bellware has worked in theater for more than 40 years as a composer and sound designer. He has directed more than 15 internationally distributed feature films and composed and directed the puppet opera Red Flag of the Future.

Kate White: Kate White is a writer, artist, and communications professional with more than 15 years of experience in higher education and nonprofit organizations. Her creative work spans nonfiction, poetry, editing, interviews, visual art, and playwriting, including an award–winning play produced at the Pittsburgh Fringe Festival. A University of Memphis graduate, she has taught writing and creative nonfiction, serves on the board of Write Pittsburgh, and leads art workshops while developing new mixed–media and poetry projects exploring identity and loss.

Live Experience Design and Production Department

Brian Milbrand (Full–Time): Brian Milbrand is a media artist, video designer, and educator with more than 25 years of experience at the intersection of art, technology, and live performance. His work spans filmmaking, motion graphics, visual effects, cinematography, editing, sound design, and video design, including award–winning theater, documentary film, and experimental audiovisual performance. He is committed to mentoring emerging artists and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration.

Kelly Kamp: Kelly Kamp is a live entertainment and operations leader with experience in project management, live event production, and organizational leadership and operations. As Director of Campus and Studios at Rock Lititz, she leads complex operations and develops teams and systems within the live entertainment industry. Kelly holds a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership and Learning from The George Washington University and is passionate about preparing emerging professionals for successful careers in live entertainment.

Chenelle Foster: Chenelle Foster is a multidisciplinary theater craftsperson specializing in lighting, scenic automation, and stage management. She holds BA and MA degrees in Theatre from Regent University and has taught at Lancaster Bible College and Millersville University while working with organizations including Sight & Sound Theatres/Films, Servant Stage, and Milburn Stone Theatre. Outside the theater, she is an avid bowler, musician, and writer.

Sam Donatelli: Sam Donatelli is a live entertainment professional and technical specialist with a BFA in Theatrical Sound Design and Technology from Penn State University. Her career includes designing and supporting large–scale entertainment experiences with the Walt Disney Company and working in controls integration, touring, programming, and operations at TAIT, where she currently serves as Training Supervisor for TAIT Crew. Her recent credits include Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter Tour, Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour, and P!nk’s Summer Carnival Tour.

Photography and Video Department

Andrew Bilindabagabo: Andrew Bilindabagabo is an award–winning Rwandan filmmaker, artist, and educator, and co–founder of INGOMA, a human–centered film production company and studio. His work spans narrative, documentary, and immersive art, including the award–winning feature I Think I’m Sick, the documentary The Elephants and the Grass, and the BlackStar–selected short Adamstown. He is passionate about telling the stories of communities often erased from dominant narratives and creating pathways into the film industry for emerging storytellers.
